I was born and raised in New York and moved to California in 1971. As far back as I can remember, I was fascinated with pregnant women and the sheer awe of the baby living within. My childhood memories fueled my passion to pursue a career in obstetrical nursing.

For the past forty-five years, I have acquired education, expertise, skills and experience in midwifery, labor & delivery, lactation and NICU nursing. Throughout that time I have worked in a variety of settings -- home, hospital and clinics -- and have worked with families from many cultures and lifestyles.

Breastmilk is the best food we can offer our babies. I'm confident that you're aware of the broad scope of it's benefits for you and your baby, but equally important to me is that you enjoy your breastfeeding experience. That you are able to reside in the blessings of being a new mom and family with more ease and less stress.

I approach breastfeeding as instinctual for most babies, but a process that many mothers have to learn. I'd be honored to assist you on your new and exciting journey through breastfeeding and motherhood.

On a personal note, being a mother, midwife

and lactation consultant has shaped the fabric of my life. I strive to bring integrity, compassion and mindfulness to all of my personal and professional endeavors. I feel blessed to having had the opportunity to assist in some of the most intimate and profound experiences of a family's life.
